The lazy dog goes into the field and interrupts the game, asks for hugs

Simple: just let a dog get into the field. And what does a dog have to do with a ball game? Even more simple: nothing.

However, the very unexpected entry into a puppy field forced the referee and players to interrupt the fight in the 36th minute of the first part of the planned friend between Chile and Venezuela for an incredible plan that left everyone speechless. The match's case arose for the functioning preparation of qualifying challenges under the upcoming Women's World, planned between Australia and New Zealand, to be played between June and July 2023.

A new opportunity to demonstrate the exponential growth of the Women's Movement, which has been drawing public, media and sponsors more and more towards itself for several years. As for the upcoming world championship competition, which is already recording record figures: for the ninth edition of the World Cup in the ocean, the event has been extended to 32 participating teams compared to 24 traditional.

So while waiting to resume official matches, Chile and Venezuela met for a friendly match at Estadio Bicentenario La Granya, located in Curicó, Chile, and received an unexpected outlook that, in turn, resumed viral football on social networks. Not for a goal, a game or a particular result: all aspects ended in the background in the face of a very special conqueror who forced everyone to stop for a few minutes.

A dog has unexpectedly entered the Estadio Bicentenario La Granya field and has forced the referee to stop the fight. But because security didn't expect any of this and was surprised, it was the players who were trying to block the animal with Chile's goalkeeper, Christiane Endler, and the referee herself who tried to stop it, caressing and calm everything in vain: the puppy took its dosage and caress, and then resumed its raids in the middle of the lawn, happily waving its tails among general entertainment. Smile on the field, give it up from the tribune to the end of the race. The calf headed towards the bench where the player from Chile, Javier Toro, finally managed to stop it, leaving it safe and allowing the match (which later ended 1-0 for Venezuelas) to resume. Even if the best show, however, had already passed.
