Kurt promises Lajcak that the agreement involving “electricity” will be implemented

The head of government has said that Kosovo is committed to principled dialogue, which benefits the citizens of Kosovo and Serbia, through a stable and applicable agreement that in the centre has mutual recognition.
“Prime Minister Kurti and EU Special Representative, Mr. Lajčac also spoke of the agreement on the implementation of the energy guide under the 2013 and 2015 agreements. He stressed the Government's commitment to its implementation, with the goal of completing an inherited problem, supply and energy payment in the four municipalities in the country's four north”, said the communique.
Kurti, while arguing with the agreement, has said the same will save Kosovo's budget millions of euros, which have been provided earlier for covering expenditures in the north.
Under the basis of this agreement, after more than 20 years, the four municipalities in northern Kosovo -- Leposaviq, Zubin Potok, Zvecan and Northern Mitrovica -- will pass on a regular order of energy billing. With this agreement, the budget of the Republic of Kosovo will save tens of millions of euros a year, paid earlier for covering the country's energy costs north of”, the announcement concludes.
