Along with Chairman Ilazi, head of Memli Krasniqi's PDK has visited the new sports gym, the Fiscal Educate Hall at the school “7 September”, the sidewalk in the village of Stagova and other projects currently occurring from the municipal budget.
I had the pleasure of being back in Kacanik, to look closely at the jobs which the mayor of the municipality, Besim Ilazi, has already begun with his team. He informed me of the challenges and difficulties of the municipality they are facing. We also discussed the plans and priority of the Chairman in raising the welfare of citizens. Together we visited several projects that are being developed with the municipality's own budget, such as a sports hall for the first time. Then we were in Stagova, where we saw works on the sidewalk and public lighting, which facilitates the lives of residents. I was relieved to see the conclusion of the sports gym, which I initiated when I was minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.”, Krasniqi said.
Krasniqi said it is really disturbing that Kosovo municipalities in general -- and those led by the opposition in particular -- are being neglected and penalised by the power and the Kurti Government.
This is what we're seeing from our regular visits. The Kachanic is one of the poor examples of Government, which as a municipality was entering the fourth year no project has received from the central level. I believe Prime Minister Kurti and his ministers should change this approach. The elections are over, and the heads of duty are heads of all citizens. Hence, his neglect should end. Otherwise, Albin Kurti is keeping only one promise, one that invited citizens to vote for his candidates, because if other candidates win, he as Prime Minister will not help them. And this is clearly seen now.”, Krasniqi said.
Meanwhile, Ilazi has thanked Krasniqi for visiting and supporting all projects that are being implemented in this city.
It is always a pleasure to have PDK Chairman Memli Krasniqi on visit. I informed Mayor Krasniqi of the challenges and difficulties our municipality is going through after the pandemic. Chairman Krasniqi offered all his support to push ahead our municipality projects, for which I thank him extremely much. Our community has no central support. We're entering the fourth year that we don't have any new projects from the central level and now this is a concern even of citizens.
