Greece's coach, Gus Poyet, has praised the Kosovo National in football the day before the match between the two countries, which is valid for the second round of the new edition of the League of Nations.
The two nationals stem from victories that won them in the first matches against Cyprus, northern Ireland, respectively.
Poyet has said Kosovo has potential, especially with some players who are very good individually.
“Before I take over Greece's team, I have analysed Greece's games in past tournaments and especially watched the games against Kosovo. Kosovo has now changed its coach, but with the game it displayed in last match against Cyprus, it was seen that the potential of the Kosovo team is great. Kosovo has very good individual players, but I expect positive results tomorrow”, Poyet said.
Greece's protector, Konstantinos Mavronapos, stressed that they already know Kosovo very well based on past confrontations, but added that they will only enter the match to gain three new points.
“We are familiar with the Kosovo team. We have faced the Kosovo team in the past tournament, although Kosovo now has new trainers, so maybe there may be new philosophy of the game. We're real, we've got a good start, we got three points and tomorrow we're also going to aim to get three new points.”, Mavropanos said.
The match between Kosovo and Greece will take place early at 20:45 at the “Fadil Vokri” Stadium in Pristina. In this group, Kosovo is the first with three points, as well as tomorrow's rival, Greece, in second place.
