Kosovo's Olympic team preceded about 40 members, who were led by flagkeepers, Fort Orana, karateist and Egzon Shala, wrestlers.
During the prepass, thousands of Algerians cheered “Kosovo” at the opening of the Mediterranean Games.

In the stadium, present along with the high personalities of the state of Algeria and other states, were KOK leaders with President Ismet Krasniqi, as well as Deputy Minister for Culture, Youth and Sports Daulin Osmani.
About 50,000 in attendance at the stadium and thousands left out saw the ceremony coincided with the Algerian tradition and culture until there was no shortage of numerous fireworks that lit up the sky.
