The English have been warned that they face zero drug tolerance in Qatar with some who may even face the death penalty if they try to smuggle amounts of drugs during the World Cup.
The issue of cocaine use among England's fans has been raised as a concern among authorities recently, especially after unpleasant scenes in the Euro 2020 final in Wimbledon.
Under the 1987 law on controlling and regulating narcotics drugs and dangerous psychotropic substances, those caught smuggling drugs in Qatar face 20 years in prison and a fine of 21,349 euros and 300 thousand euros.
