Pep Guardilla is considering the passage of German goalkeeper who is willing to come without money after Arminia Bielefeld fell out of Bundesliga.
Manchester City is considering this substitute goalkeeper for Ederso, where Stefan Ortega is possible as an option.
The 29-year-old is out of contract because his contract with Armina Bielefeld expired after the club's fall from Bundesliga.
American Zack Steffen is currently the second choice and he has just signed the contract extension by 2025.
Stefan Ortega played all Bundesligla's matches last season in exception to one because of the choreography and had a good performance with the club despite ending up in the pre-end post.
He was on Germany's Euro 2020 reserve list and was earlier linked to a Bayern Munchen crossing as Manuel Neuer's replacement.
