Initially, Israel Quintero, the boxer's boyfriend, has distributed a photo of a video telephone they have made, where she writes: “She has responded finely to her medical treatments, showing great strength”, writes MARCA, forward Periscope.

What happened to Ayala?
On May 13th, Alejandra Ayala faced Scottish Hannah Rankin for the World Boxing title in the super light weight at Hydro Arena in Glasgow. Mexican was dominated for most of the war, she could do little against her opponent.
The drama came after the last bell, Ayala began to feel sick, lost consciousness, and was sent to the hospital, where she remained in a coma.
After ten days in a coma, the warrior woke up and has been feeling better ever since.
