Zelensky confirms 156 civilians rescued from the steel factory have arrived in town

Ukraine's president, Volodymyr Zelensky, has announced that 156 people arrived today in Zaporzhija after being rescued from the Azovstal steel factory in Marioupol. Speaking in his night speech, he said: “Finally we have the result, the first result of our Azovstal evacuation operation in Marioupol, which we have organised for a very long time. It took a lot of effort, long negotiations, and various mediation”.
He added that the evacuations had spent more than two months in shelters.
Just imagine, for example, a child is six months old, two of which has been spent underground hiding from bombs and grants”, he added.
“Finally, these people are perfectly safe. They'll get help”
