Naples's president, Aurelio de Laurentis, has commented on reports that Barcelona has expressed interest in Calidu Koulibau.
He said Barca has not officially requested Senate, while claiming that the club from La League does not have enough money for its purchase.
“Barcelona has not asked for Koulibaly, and I think Barca does not have enough money to sign with any player”, Naples president told “Jiantes”.
Aurelio de Laurentis also said Naples is not interested in exchanging Koulibaly with Miralem Pjanic, as reported in recent days.
“We are not interested in any exchange agreement”, he added.
Barcelona aims to reinforce itself in defence for next season, while it remains to be seen whether it will come out to sign with Koulibaly.
The 30-year-old with Naples has valid contracts until June 30th, 2023.
