Portugal promises 250m euros in financial aid to Ukraine

It was said that Costa had assured Zelensky of his country's continued support for Ukraine, later posting on Twitter that Portugal had agreed to send 250m euros in financial aid.
During the joint press conference, Zelensky reiterated hopes that Ukraine will become a candidate to join Portugal and 26 other countries as full members of the European Union.
There has been no consensus within the bloc if Ukraine should be allowed to register fully.
