An increasing “number of unknown objects in heaven over the past 20 years, a Pentagon official told American lawmakers Tuesday, but did not confirm the existence of life outside the Earth.
For the first time in more than 50 years, the U.S. Congress held a public hearing about <x0). Unidentified strains in air”
“Since the beginning of 2000, we have noticed an increasing number of unidentified items,” said Scott Bray, US Deputy Intelligence Director for Navy.
The official attributed the increase to the US Army's “important efforts for “de-mixification of the survey reporting act” and technological advances.
However, he noted that he had not discovered anything “that would indicate that these phenomena originated outside Earth”. But he did not rule out such an opportunity.
In June 2021, the U.S. intelligence service stated in a long-awaited report that there was no evidence of the existence of aliens, acknowledging however that dozens of phenomena observed by military pilots could not be interpreted.
Some may be explained by the presence of drones or birds that confuse American military radar systems. Others can be attributed to testing military equipment and technology performed by other powers such as China and Russia.
The U.S. Army and intelligence service want to determine, above all, whether these unidentified <x0fenomenes of air” can be linked to the threat to the United States.
Unidentified phenomenes in the air may be a threat to national security”, warns Democrat Andre Carson, chairman of the parliamentary commission that organised the session. And we should approach them as such. ”
