On May 2, 1999, Serbian criminal forces had taken Xhemajle, Ceatin, and Shaban Gerxhaliu hostage in Vushtrri Studies, and their families had been executed one by one before their eyes. On that fateful day, 36 family members were executed. Sebahudin, the son of Selatin, was only 5 years old, but his mother, Sala, was 85 years old.
In studies, the inhuman crimes of a blood - hungry army and massacres on defenseless civilians continued over the Gerguri families, Rasica, Sfarca, and many other families. 116 civilians, unarmed and innocent, of all gender ages, women, men, and elders, were executed without mercy that fateful day. Even 23 years later, justice continues to silence all these martyrs, including five - year - old Sebahud, who had not yet started school.
Today he would have been 28 years old! Therefore, we must never forget the suffering and sacrifice that our people have spent on the road to freedom. Today, tomorrow and every other day, we will seek justice and punishment of criminals. Glory to the martyrs of Studies!
