Duterte says that, even though both of them, even he and Putin are called murderers, they are different.
A lot of people say Putin and I are the same because we kill people. But I kill criminals. I don't kill kids and old people. What is happening in Russia and America is different from what is happening here”, Duterte said according to the state news agency PNA.
Duterte said he's not condemning his partner, Putin, but he's co-operating.
“Putin is my friend. You're in control of everything. Anyway, you started conflicting there. Check your soldiers. They are leading uncontrolled violence”, Duerte said.
Duerte also demanded that the Russian Embassy in the Philippines send his message to Putin, saying it is Putin's duty to ensure the safety of the innocent.
Russia's “Embassy, if you're listening, I'm not promoting conflict with anyone. I said Putin was my friend. But it is your moral obligation to see that civilians, innocent people, children, women, the elderly are highly endangered”, he added. /Periscopi/
