Berisha, who represents Germany, is thought to have failed to convince the leaders of the Fenerbahces club.
The 24-year-old with the Turkish club has valid contracts by 30 June 2025.
Based on “Transfermarkt”, the former Salzburg striker on the transfer market is estimated at 7.50m euros.
For Mergim Berisha, several clubs from France and Germany have reportedly expressed interest, but their names have not yet been revealed.
