Customs turns 9 officials off

Kosovo Customs has made a decision to dismiss the nine customs officials.

In addition to leaving work, Kosovo Customs has announced that the ongoing criminal court process is also under way.

Based on internal investigations and developed disciplinary procedure, officials in question have initially been suspended, while following the development of a disciplinary process and based on managed evidence has been set for the final break of the labour relationship.

The administered “evidence is clear to testify that the actions and inactions of officials in this case are punishable and pose grave violations of the Code of Conduct.

Kosovo customs is dedicated to the service of public interest, and all customs officials are needed with the highest responsibility to fulfil the Kosovo Customs and Mission, which serves the protection of Kosovo citizens and economy.”, the media report said.
