He has explained that the area is under Russia's occupation, yet fighting is not very intense, because the Russians seek to show normality after the invasion.
Omarov, among other things, has indicated that residents of these areas are not allowed to travel to other Ukraine countries, but only to Russian ones.
In the Zaporisiza area, there are three Albanian villages. They're under full occupation. I have contacts with them. Almost every day I receive information about what happens in these villages. Given their distance from the center, there are currently no very intensive military action.
The Russian army there has decided its powers, and is headed by the Russian Army. There are shops and schools operating because Russia wants to show normality when there is no resistance. So they have the right to travel towards Crime by naming it part of Russia. But they do not allow them to enter other parts of Ukraine. No, they live there” said Omarov.
