After former Prime Minister Abramovich was banned from any right on the Chelsea team, a deal has now been reached between him and the British government, writes Periscope.
So according to information coming from “Sky”, Abramovich and his advisers are convinced that their latest proposal for the club's sale will be accepted by the British government.
This is a very significant step because the government was the last obstacle to selling the Chelsea operation that had the green light from Premier League.
So Chelsea's direction gave billionaire Todd Boyle but that had a condition.
Before buying the English team, Boyle had to cross the “the owner and directorate”, a test given to new owners, in which the English league analyzes whether the candidate to buy a club has a legal obstacle to buy a club.
