At least four explosions were heard in the center of Lviv shortly before 20:30 local time.
Car alarms fell and were followed by emergency sirens. It's not yet known what was in the target.
Mayor Andriy Sadovy said those in the city should be accommodated, adding that the attacks had influenced the power supply.
