Monza writes an extraordinary chapter in her 110-year history, as she has for the first time managed to climb the Italian football elite.
The team founded in 1912 has always militarized in low Italian leagues, reaching maximum to Serina B, yet today's night has taken the first ticket in history to compete in the A Serina.
Through a difficult journey of Play Off, Monza managed to defeat Pisa in the two final matches and secure her climb to the elite.
The first match ended with Monza's 2-1 score, which regularly lost 3-2 in Pisa and the challenge addressed the extension.
However, there the team led by Giovanni Stroppa scored twice, sealing the climb to Italy's football elite in the bow of four years when the club took possession of Milan's duo of success, Berlusconi-Gallian.
Both decided to invest in Monza in 2018, taking the team from low levels and climbing stairs one by one, as after last season's failed attempt, they completed their journey tonight.
