3 May World Press Freedom Day serves to remind governments of the need to respect their dedication to freedom of the press and is also a day of reflection among media professionals for press freedom and professional ethics, writes Periscope.
According to the American State Department report, Kosovo journalists during 2021 so far have been threatened and lynched by representatives of state institutions.
On the occasion of marking this day, the Association of Kosovo Journalists (AGK) will hold a media conference at 11:00.
May 3rd is also the day of commemoration of those journalists who have lost their lives in pursuit of truth and professional reporting. PERISCOP
