The VV Parliamentary Group has held a media conference where the head of the group Mimoza Kusari and MP Adnan Rrustemi have spoken. “Today in the absence of opposition parliamentary groups as a result of their leaving the hall, 4 international agreements worth 100m euros” remain unvoted, Kusari Lila said before reporters.
The VV's GP chief said it was illegal opposition efforts to form the Investigative Commission.
We witnessed today an illegal attempt to form a Parliamentary Commission. Today it was the second opposition attempt to counter the rules tried to decide before the act conducted the Assembly session. The Vetevendosje movement has nothing to hide in relation to demands for the energy sector, but we cannot do the opposition numbers not when trying to violate rules”, Kusari said.
She said opposition parties have trapped themselves when they signed up for forming the Commission.
“We support the parliamentary investigation that we used while we were in the opposition but not that through their acts. What we are seeing today is that we are still being accused of such a process, today it was evident that after the collection of signatures by opposition parties had trapped ourselves which did not allow space to allow the election of a Commission leader. We can't get you to help as long as they commit violations”, said Kusari Lila.
Meanwhile, VV deputy Adnan Rrustemi said they invite the opposition to reflect on changing the Parliamentary Investigation Law.
“The PDK, the LDK, the AAK, themselves have entered procedure blockades, cannot be asked to support something that is against the law. We invite them to reflect if they reflect we can discuss changing the Parliamentary Investigation Law. Even abusers and democracies don't go together”, Rrustem said.
The opposition has launched the Assembly Hall today, as the ruling party failed to support the proposal for the introduction of the parliamentary Energy Investment Commission's formation day.
