Germanan Shaqiri has estimated that Switzerland is in a difficult group in the World “Catari 2022”.
Switzerland plays Cameroon, Brazil and Serbia. The last two were in the group.
We know most teams from the World 2018, and Cameroon is an interesting team with good players playing in strong leagues. To me Brazil is the group's great favourite. Other teams will play for second place. Our original goal is to cross the group. It'll be hard. We need three very, very good fights to be able to advance. But thanks to the great experience in this tournament we will go to the world with confidence. We know what's coming for us --”, Shaqiri told the Swiss Football Federation official.
