Stojanovic moved to Albania at the Grncar border checkpoint.
Meanwhile, Montenegrin police stopped the vehicle he was with, but he left before the search was made.
Serbia's Ministry of Internal Affairs on 14 April, in an international action co-ordinated by Europol and Eurojust, arrested Saric and four other people suspected of being members of an organised criminal group operating in Serbia, Europe and South America.
They are alleged to have committed criminal acts as serious murder, production and unauthorized distribution of narcotics, production, possession and illegal trafficking of weapons and explosives, as well as abuse of power.
