Luka Modric will remain at Real Madrid for at least one more season. So has renowned Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Croatian midfielder will sign valid contracts by 30 June 2023.
The agreement between the parties to renew the contract is reached.
Only some recent details are yet expected to be finalised before the new contract by Modric is signed.
The current 36-year contract with “Los Blancos” expires on June 30th of this year.
Luka Modric was transferred for 35m euros to “Santiago Bernabau” from Tottenham in 2012.
In addition to the numerous trophies won by Real Madrid, former Dinamo Zagreb midfielder won the Golden Land “” in 2018.
