Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has started the cycle of visits to municipalities today. Osmani's first stop was in Gjilan, where he was hosted by President Alban Hyseni, who said that “would keep” literally for whether to make Gnjilan the cleanest municipality in Kosovo. Until he has made known the topics they have discussed with the mayor of Gjilan, Osmani promised to commit to resolving the drinking water issue in this municipality.

Of course, one of these is the drinking water issue, I will cooperate with the mayor of the municipality, so that this problem can be solved as soon as possible, I will cooperate with international organisations and other states to see which countries we can get direct assistance from so that this problem can be solved as quickly, and of course with all other institutions”, she said.

Among other things, it has shown the reason for this municipality's choice to initiate its visiting cycle.

We started with the chairman of Gjilan, who is the youngest chairman, as well as to encourage our young people to engage in politics, to engage in decisionmaking because as the state of the youngest age in terms of our citizens, it is important that youth have an important voice about the decisions made in the lives of our citizens”, she said.

While the mayor of the municipality of Gjilan, Alban Hyseni, said he feels honored that the municipality he leads is the first to be visited by President Osmani.

“has honoured us even more because it is the first visit to Kosovo municipalities. I have briefly notified the president of some of the major problems, our priorities and some of the projects that we have started so far.
