A Ukrainian football team has played an official match for the first time since Russia invaded the country.
Dynamo Kyiv's U-19 team played the Lisbon Sporting in 1/16 of the U Youth League EFA in Bucharest on Thursday afternoon.
Dinamo's players went out to the fields dressed in Ukrainian flag, blue, and yellow, also prominent in the Giulesti Stadium Tributes.
A minute of silence was held before the start to honour victims of the brutal conflict in Ukraine, which has now lasted 42 days.
Football has stopped in Ukraine since the invasion of Premier League and other local competitions suspended indefinitely in the middle of the season.
The Ukrainian National for the World Cup Against Scotland qualifying Play-off was postponed from March to June as a result of the war.
