Coalition Election Commission head “united for Serbia's” victory, Branimir Kuznovo said tonight that the opposition has a majority in Belgrade.
I want to announce to you that the opposition has a majority in Belgrade. When I say opposition, I have in mind the united Coalition for Belgrade's victory, the coalition We should and the Nada” coalition, Kuznovo told reporters, talking about the preliminary results of today's elections.
He added that in some polling locations, the elections lasted until nearly 22.00.
“People could not vote, they were detained in Belgrade during the day, and in many countries the leaders of polling stations from the Serbian Progressive Party interrupted the vote for 10 to 15 minutes, trying to reduce participation in Belgrade”, he said.
The presidential, parliamentary and local elections in Belgrade and 13 other municipalities were held in Serbia today.
