This programme has been established and supported by KEDS, within the framework of KEDS Academy programme, which this year turned 9 years. To push and support girls to pursue their career, even in terms of Information Technology and Programming Field, KEDS is engaged in making this happen.
Part of this programme can become any student of Professional Middle Schools, Information Account, and Gmnazet, 12th grade, which has basic skills in using Information Technology, and good success in the preceding year.
Starting May of this year, Girls T ECH will be the open door to all those girls who want to raise their knowledge in the high fields mentioned.
The number of selected girls will be 15, meanwhile, that the application has opened today for all interested ones.
To draft and compile programme modules, the KED's respective field professionals have been taken care of, and now everything is ready to begin implementation.
Project inventor Valbona Kadrijaj confirms that everything is already ready for the launch of the Girls T programme. ECH. Implementation of the programme will be made by the company's internal resources.
We in KEDS have done everything ready to start with the implementation of the programme. We have identified necessary human resources, as well as created physical infrastructure with the aim of implementing the project. Also, the support and training staff is ready, and besides the Department of Quality, Security and Training commitments, we also have support from the IT Department. In addition to professional skills, after the completion of the program for girls who show great commitment to the program, there will be open doors for employment as well.
At the conclusion of the programme, employment opportunities at the company will be offered for the best, said Kadrijaj.
KEDS remains a company dedicated to the professional advancement of Kosovo youth, through numerous development projects in the Corporation's social responsibility sector (CSR). Also, this programme is also being realised as the company's pledge to empower the role of women in companies and communities, with the signing of seven) UN Women principles.
The programme will begin with the Pristina District, which includes these municipalities: Pristina, Pristina, Obilqi, Fushe - Kosovo and Drenas, meanwhile, will be open until April 22nd, 2022.
