The DJ technology has suspended its business activity in Russia and Ukraine in order to avoid using its fears in war.
“DJI is assessing within the requirements for involvement in various jurisdictions. Waiting for the final assessment, DJ will suspend all business activity in Russia and Ukraine”, says the company's announcement.
It is believed that both countries are using drones in combat -- although the company continues to stress that its products are only for civilian use.
Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister, Mykhailo Federov, had written an open letter to the company in question calling for the DJ to block its fears sales in Russia, claiming Russian troops are using fears in Ukraine to lynch missiles to kill civilians.
