“Austria supports the European Union's sanctions against Russia, and the Union is ready to implement more sanctions”, Nehammar said at a joint press conference Saturday in Kiev with Ukrainian President Volodyyr Zelensky.
Nehammer will visit the town of Bucha on Saturday, which he called “the war crimes site”.
“We must make known to the UN those war crimes and international justice should begin investigating and fighting these crimes”, he said.
Zelensky thanked him for the support Ukraine has received so far and reiterated his call for more sanctions on Russia.
