Mechi against Tyrone Spong has been cancelled because of contractual issues, forcing the former world champion into heavy weights to confront Louis Ortiz, writes Periscope.
The previous plan to develop between Ruiz and Spong was warned last week, but it has now been revealed that Ruiz had already signed a contract to confront Oriz this summer.
“We are working friendly with the PBC to make sure that Ruiz respects his obligations to both sides,” said Tiller Fight Club President David Tetreault.
If we knew that the PBC intended to fight it earlier, we would never have chosen this date.
“We enjoy a good relationship with the PBC and are currently working to identify an optimum date for replanning the battle. The date when Triller will be launched will be in co-operation with the PBC and their” calendar, he said.
