“We have witnessed our strength. We've witnessed this, to the minimum, we're the same as you. So prove you're with us. Prove he won't let us go. Prove yourself European”, he said in a video address to the European Parliament on Tuesday.
Zelensky has said he and his country are fighting for survival from Russia's invasion.
Then life will triumph from death and light will prevail against darkness. We're fighting for survival, that's our highest motive, but we're also struggling to be equal in Europe”.
Posting on Twitter, Ukraine's Foreign Minister, Dmytro Kuleba, has said the European Union's best <x0-level decision is to accept Ukraine. Historical times require historical decisions that can change the course of events”.
Zelensky has been conveyed by the participants' applause in parliament.
