Manchester United Club has reacted to grief over Cookie's death.

“Manchester United is deeply shocked. We learned that Oleksandr Kukin, one of the founders of Manchester United fans' fan club in Kiev, has passed away. A big fan of ours was killed. His car was hit by Russian Army bullets,” wrote the club.
His wife and daughter survived the tragedy, but afterward they were taken to the hospital and underwent surgery. We send our condolences in the hope that they will be healed as soon as possible. The club is looking for a way to help Alexander's family and Kiev fans”, writes Manchester United.
