Ukrainian Railway Chief: Honest Belarusns cut off Russian supplies

Currently, there is no railway traffic from Belarus to Ukraine, and Russian forces are not using railways between the two countries to strengthen their invading forces in Ukraine, said the head of Ukraine's state railways, Oleksandri Kamyshi. The last “I have called on the Belarusian railways not to enforce criminal orders and transport Russian military forces towards Ukraine”, Kamesin told Time Current.
For the moment, I can say there is no railway link between Ukraine and Belarus. I cannot discuss details, but I am grateful to the Belarusian railways for what they are doing”, he said.
Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24th, a considerable portion of Russian military supplies have been brought to Ukraine via the Homel-Kiev railway, the Ukrainian government said.

On March 17th, Ukrainian Presidential Adviser Olexey Arestovich urged civilians in the conflict area to implement a “rail war” against Russia by destroying railways and equipment, particularly in Crime, in other parts south of Ukraine, east of Ukraine and near Belarus.
In an interview for Time Current, a Russian-language network directed by Radio Free Europe in collaboration with the Voice of America, Kamyshin has praised “honest people” among Belarus Railways employees.
I believe that among the Belarusians and especially among the railway workers -- there are still honest people. I don't want to betray them. I am grateful to them for what is happening today... I am sure that honest people in this organization will be able to stop the work of the Belarusian railways in connection with the transfer of military equipment to Ukraine”, Kamyshin said.
He added that Ukraine's railway transports about 60,000 Ukrainians daily from the south, north and east of the country to Western destinations in the country, and that about 20,000 people are transported every day to neighbouring countries in the west.
Kamyshin also said it seems that Russian forces are not hitting the railway infrastructure.
“Currently railway stations and trains are still the safest sites in the country”, he said, adding that there have been several victims as a result of deadlocked shells.
