Totale reportedly will double Alfa Romeos sales

Last year, the sale of Italian cars Alpha Romeo had dropped to 55,000, which was 8,300 cars sold less than in 2020.

In early February of this year's Alpha Romeo introduced the Tomele model, an SUV this completely new compact, a classroom lower than Stelvio model.

Tonnales' direct competitors are BMW X1, Mercedes G LA, Audi Q3 and Volvo XC40, as well as the Jeep Compas model, by which Tomal shares the same platform.

The sale of models of the renowned Italian manufacturer had fallen last year, marking only 55,000 sold specimens, which reduced 8,300 specimens by 2020.

According to Auto News Europe portal, Alpha Romeo Tomele expects to double these figures. That's because with the new SUVA Alpha is going through the most popular model segment, that compact SW's, with about 2.5 to three million pieces sold annually. Consequently, the Italians believe Alpha Romeo Totale will increase sales to over 100,000 units annually.

Otherwise, Alfa Tonale is the first electrified model of the Italian manufacturer, even though it is not scheduled to be a fully electric version. Currently, two main gasoline engines are offered -- 1.5 turbo hybrid with 130 or 160 KF -- and the 1.3 combined engine, with the Plug option and general power of 275 KF.
