Turkey's Defence Ministry reports that preliminary data appears to have to do with a Soviet-made marine mine. The ministry said measures are being taken for its departure from the Bosphorus, while it is unknown whether there are other mines floating in these waters, reports abcnews.al.

It is not known how this marine mine in the Bosphorus ended, but a few days ago, Turkish experts sounded the alarm that mines imposed by Ukraine and Russia on the Black Sea could come as far as Turkey because of the sea currents and storm that swept over the last area.

The first suspicions are that this mine has come right from the Black Sea to the Bosphorus, making it very dangerous now to sail there. /abcnews. al
