Russian Auto-industry Stops Production, World Threatened With Lack of Padicum

In addition to local producers, Western sanctions on Russia have affected many world companies with factories there. Renault seems to be the most affected.
Some European producers have announced that they will close their factories, causing, of course, the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the economic consequences of the move.
Setting sanctions has drastically hampered the supply of parts - including production itself. In addition to the existing absence of semi-referencers, producers are now facing new problems in the supply chain.
AvtoVAZ was among the first to react, announcing that some travel lines would probably have to stop the job. The Russian company is run by Lada Auto Holding, and it has numerous factories, while Renault is the main owner of AvtoVaz, with 67.61% shares.
In parallel, Renault also confirmed that, due to logistical problems, it will suspend production in certain segments.
Renault is the largest Western car manufacturer in Russia, but not the only one. Besides the AvtoVAZ factory, Renault also owns its factory in Moscow, which is Renault's second largest factory, after which in France.
