The battlefield around northern Ukraine remains very static with Russian forces possibly holding a period of reshuffle before high-level offensive operations continue.
Russian forces are trying to surround Ukrainian forces east of the country as they advance from Kharkivi's direction to the north and to Mariupol in the south.
