Earlier this day, the city council reported that an art school was attacked in the city, where some 400 people were sheltered.
McAndrew said reports from Marioupolis are disturbing, and the most recent one he had heard was that about 350 thousand people are trapped in the city, reports the BBC, broadcast Clankosova.tv.
He added that his colleagues are trying to enter Marioupol, but very difficult.
McAndrew said the Red Cross has some conveniences to provide support in Lviv, but one of the difficulties it is facing at the moment is to ensure that those who need it can reach them.
“They can be safe with us, they just have to come to us, but we have to get to them”, he added.
