Osman meets with Qatar Prime Minister, urged support for Kosovo membership in international organisations

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has met with Qatar State Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani during attending the Doha Forum. The president has highly praised friendly relations between our two countries. In the context of the Doha Forum, President Osmani reiterated Kosovo and Qatar's joint efforts as two peace-loving countries, readiness to address contemporary challenges.

The president thanked the prime minister for supporting Kosovo since the post-war, including the implementation of various projects financed by the people and the state of Qatar. Likewise, President Osmani expressed the readiness of our institutions to deepen economic and trade co-operation with the state of Qatar.

The president praised Qatar's important role in supporting Kosovo in various international initiatives. It highlighted the need to advance diplomatic co-operation by joining international organisations in which we are not yet represented, as well as increasing the number of recognitions for Kosovo's independence.
