The capitals of Los Angeles were seen visiting Will Smith's house on Tuesday, two days after the actor slapd the Chris Rock comedy at “Oscars 2022”.
The officers were photographed around the gates of the éSmiths Calabasas residence in a patrol car marked at 2:40 Tuesday, Spluh News reported.
Lizette Salcon, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, told Page Six that police arrived after someone reported a fear flying in their neighborhood, but did not confirm whether Smith has filed complaints or a neighbor nearby.
We just sent that unit over there to find the location and fear and see if there was a paparazzi or what was happening”, Salcon told us, “but when they arrived there, they were unable to find the fear. He had already left the body area”.
While Rock, 57, has decided not to press charges, many have wondered if “King actor Richard”, 53, would face legal consequences.
The same man physically attacked the comedian for a joke he made with his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, for her bald head, which suffers from arithrax.
The city's “Avokat [Los Angeles] can file charges based on evidence without necessarily relying on victims”, Steve Cooley, Los Angeles District Attorney from 2000 to 2012.
“Victime does not check whether or not a prosecutor should press charges”, Cooley continued. “However, the charges could and should be raised because the work was against the state of California. It's not Chris Rock versus Will Smith in a criminal case”
Will on the other hand shortly after the incident, he apologized to the comedian and the Film Academy. /Telegraphy/
