Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has been asked by the media Thursday for opposing the activities of Adem Demac for the Watchtower Agreement in 1999 with the argument that the same brings Kosovo back to Serbia, even as former US secretary at the time Madeleine Albright had insisted on such a thing.
Prime Minister Kurti, who in the period of this agreement worked at the KLA General Political Representative Adem Demacchi's office, stressed that there have been many negotiations and negotiations at the time, and that the Edem<x0 balloon has always demanded more than was offered.
According to him, Ademi Demac's resistance was in Kosovo's best interests.
At the time of the Kosovo Liberation Army's war, there have been many proposals for the selection of the Kosovo issue, which had the most focus on peace and war stopping. At that time, there have been many talks and negotiations, and Baca Adam has always demanded more than was offered. NATO's intervention in spring 1999 came because the Balkan butcher, Milosevic, refused any documents in which there was much favourable for him, and on the other hand, the January 15th and January massacre of Recak of that year clearly indicated that a second Srebrenica was being prepared in Kosovo. Our reports with the US at any time, in any situation we've faced, have always been good and all discussions that have taken place by political figures, including our symbol of resistance, Adem Demac, have been for the good of Kosovo and the Albanian nation, and there has always been a sense of understanding from our irreplaceable ally and key partner to the United States”, Kurti stressed.
Prime Minister Kurti made these comments during his speeches before the former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright's bust in Pristina.
