Krasniqi has said that Kosovo must urgently see membership in the Council of Europe.
On the other hand, Krasniqi has said that Kosovo should help Ukraine with at least 1m euros after Russian aggression there.
First The PDK has also demanded that, if necessary, Kosovo will be willing to accommodate some 500 Ukrainian citizens.
Here you have his full status:
The situation created with the military attack and Ukraine's unprohibited invasion of Ukraine from Russia, which is not only turning into tragedy for a European country, but also attacking the civil and democratic values that we, as a people and as a state, share with Western democracies, is extremely important for the Republic of Kosovo to increase its commitment to closer with these values and with institutions and organisations that have these values on their foundations.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo sees the need for Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe as a capital step towards integration further within these values. We call on the government to take all necessary steps to accelerate this process, much more so when the unity of Western and European democracies is at the highest rate ever, bringing a moment that cannot go without being used to fulfill our integration aspirations.
On the other hand, while the dimension of Russian aggression against Ukraine is taking the character of a humanitarian crisis, the Democratic Party of Kosovo urges the government to allocate at least 1m euros to the people of Ukraine, as a solid aid at this extremely serious time for them and their country.
Meanwhile, The PDK calls on the government to take steps to ensure, in case of need, the housing of at least 5,000 Ukrainian citizens who have been violently displaced by Russian aggression.
The Republic of Kosovo is the product of the civic freedom forces that fully understand the meaning of such aggression against freedom and democracy. Therefore, this moment must serve to advance our common values and our consolidation of further European and Western democratic structures”, Krasniqi wrote on his Facebook account. / PERISCOP
