British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has declared today that his country has promised to send an additional 6,000 missiles to Ukraine.
We must help Ukraine against its violent neighbour. This is just the beginning”, Johnson said.
He, after the NATO summit in Brussels, said Great Britain has so far sanctioned more than 1,000 Russian individuals and subjects.
The message to Putin is that Ukraine is not alone. We stay with the people in Kiev, Marioupol, Lviv and Donetsk. As President Zelensky himself said, the people of Ukraine must win and Putin must fail and he will,”, he said.
Johnson also said he sympathies with the Russian people, but not with their leader Vladimir Putin, the BBC reports.
“We all agree that what Putin is doing is extremely catastrophic, his invasion in Ukraine is inhuman and barbarous”, Johnson said, adding that such conduct had not been seen on the European continent for 80 years.
Johnson says statements about the use of nuclear weapons draw attention to what is happening in Ukraine.
He added that the use of conventional weapons from Russia included artillery was “absolutely barbarous”.
