At the latest meeting of the Economic-Social Council on March 10th, there were two proposals for minimum wage and were put to the polls, but no proposal received the necessary votes.
This council has today indicated that the proposal expected to be submitted to the Government for approval of the minimum wage is reasonable.
The next KES meeting will be held by the end of this month, where the final proposal for the minimum wage, which the proposal will be submitted for approval of the Government, will be voted. We believe that the ECS proposal, which is a reasonable proposal, will be approved by the Government and employees in the Republic of Kosovo, will have a reasonable minimum wage”, said the Economic-Social Council communique.
The KES consists of 15th (15) members, who in this body represent the interests of employed organisations, employers' and Government organisations, and in addition, cares for the minimum wage proposal, as it has it in its mandate.
