Nor GM exports to Russia

After Ford, the other American giant, General Motors, decided to suspend the export of vehicles to the Russian market.
General Motors (GM) has joined the biggest automotive producers who will no longer export cars to Russia. This is due to sanctions imposed but also as a way that General Motors solidifies with the Ukrainian people.
Our thoughts are now with the people of Ukraine. Loss of lives is a tragedy, so our main concern now is the security of people in the region,” said a GM spokesman for the Carscopes portal.
Otherwise, General Motors withdrew from the Russian market after selling its stake in AvtovAZ, where Renault Nissan, VW Group and Stelantis now have active production. However, GM in Russia owns a large retail company that cares for the sale of American and northeastern cars in the Russian and surrounding markets.
A few days ago, Volvo announced it has halted exports to Russia, while Wolfgang has temporarily suspended the distribution of cars to its merchants there. The VW and Renault have also announced that they are temporarily suspending their production in Russia.
