Electricity prices on international markets rise 100% after Russia's invasion in Ukraine

Based on the Hungarian stock exchange HUPX, which is also reference to the import of electricity in Kosovo during February, prior to the Russian attack, the price has been about 250 euros for megats for electricity at the peak time, which Kosovo mainly buys, while now the average price is nearly 500 euros for megawatts.
These negative moves corresponded to the deterioration of our weather. This has prompted demand for electricity consumption in Kosovo to rise markedly. Since demand exceeds local production, then we must absolutely import the amount needed from abroad. Any increase in demand in these circumstances - each megawatt added to the system - should be provided by electricity imports, which at current prices is highly unfavourable even when compared to the first two months of this year, when a price decrease was recorded.
Hence, under these circumstances the savings of electricity and its rational exploitation by all consumers is welcome. In doing so, each would be extremely helpful to the electromagnetic system in Kosovo to cope with the situation as easily as possible. Co-ordination of joint action between acts of system and consumers.
Thus, uniting forces for the common good makes each crisis much easier. This savings is vital in the coming days, when low temperatures are expected, as after weeks of winter, temperatures increase and electricity consumption decreases, and it is likely to be covered by local production.
