Judge Margarita Cotova has read his sentence on March 22nd in a prison outside Moscow, where Navalny is being held.
She has yet to know the penalty.
Prosecutors have been seeking prison sentences for 13 years.
Navalny spent last year in prison on various charges after returning to Russia from Germany, where he was treated after the almost fatal attack with nervous agents.
Navalny blames the Kremlin for the attack, but the latter rejects the charges.
The case against Navajo was launched in December 2020, under suspicions that the 45-year-old had pocketed money from his Anti-Corruption Foundation.
Investigators have accused Navajo of receiving about $33,000 of donations for personal use.
Navalny rejects all charges and considers them politically motivated.
