The Shell oil company has announced today that it will fully dismantle co-operation with the giant Russian energy industry, immediately preventing all Russian crude oil purchases and closing its service stations there, CNN reports, the Periscope broadcast.
The UK-based company, which last week announced it was abandoning its investments in Russia, said its decision to abandon all Russian fossil fuels trade was in line with new government guidelines.
Major Russian energy exports so far have been engraved by unprecedented sanctions imposed by the West in response to President Vladimir's order to attack Ukraine.
